The plane tickets to Los Angeles have been purchased! Flying out February 8th for six days to relax with friends, play music and practice yoga – then on to Australia. I can’t believe its almost time to go.
Bad Guy Premier this weekend at Celebration Cinema. So much excitement. I am a very proud sister. My brother Matthew has put his heart and soul into this project /movie. This is the pinnacle of many years of hard work, long nights and years of practice. Friday night was a success and I’m sure Saturday will be also. Everyone looked like they had a great time. I am looking forward to tonights showing.
On a another note, Jeremy received his visa from the Australian government !! YAY! We have booked our tickets to Sydney and will be leaving on February 14 from Los Angeles. The only question that remains is, how we are going to get to LA? Train or Plane? I dread thinking of 72 hours in a train, but Jeremy reminded me that Life is about the journey, not about the destination. I have entered into a space in my life that I have sacrificed comfort and security for experience. I have given myself the gift of time and I am going to live presently in every moment of it.
Sorting through and reorganizing my whole life into boxes. Many piles all over the house. Where did I get all this stuff? Why did I save this? Should I keep this for future use? What is necessary to take with me on my travels? I have traveled a little bit in my life, but never like this. And I have always overpacked. This time I can’t. I am allowed one suitcase – for a year long journey. This will be interesting !

Today I received an e-mail from the Australian Government that said I was granted 12 months to visit / travel around Australia! This is great news – now I can start planning everything else!

I picked up my mail from parents house and a note was attached from my Mom — It reads “The heart should do things without the brain’s permission”. Thank you Mom and Dad for all the support, love and encouragement you have given me throughout my life.
